“My experience with Comfort Keepers has been less than stellar. They seem to be quite unresponsive even after multiple emails, to multiple people. I don't think my boyfriends requests were unreasonable due to the seriousness of the situation. They choose to not deal with him, even though the contract is with him and he lives with his grandmother. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the use of Comfort Keepers. They just stopped coming , yet kept the payment of two weeks that they just took. Now, to file complaints with licensing, BBB and others before potentially having to sue them for the return of the $2400 they didn't earn. Very disappointing. I'm attaching pics of the letters he sent them regarding the ridiculously absurd situations that occurred. You can make up your own mind.”

“Do not hire this company to care for anyone that you care about. They do not pay for stuff that their caretakers break! My dad's caretaker broke his oven door. My dad is elderly, has suffered 3 strokes, and lives on social security. The caretaker didn't open the oven right (the motion is up and out, but the caretaker jerked it out), and the reason I say "jerked" is because this isn't the first time that she has damaged something at my dad's house. These people are not careful. This happened 2 months ago. My dad's oven is 14 years old, and considering he does not cook himself, this oven would've lasted the rest of his life. My dad was originally told by a repair man that the hinges are obsolete and cannot be replaced. My dad went and purchased a new oven with the expectation that Comfort Keepers would do the right thing by paying half of the oven. Over a month goes by with very minimal communication from the manager at Comfort Keepers, but finally able to reach her and she said that they are only willing to pay to fix the hinges. Somehow, my dad is able to get in touch with a different repair guy. He found the hinges online and to replace them would now cost $200. A lot less than the brand new oven, right?! Now the management at Comfort Keepers are only willing to pay $50!! They can't even stick to their own word - "We will pay to replace and repair the hinges only." My dad is a Veteran and the VA pays for his care from Comfort Keepers. I will be sure to reach out to them to let them know that they do not repair or replace anything that is damaged by their own personnel. Why should my dad be out of pocket or have to pay more than half of the costs?”
