Experience

Elizabeth has been a respiratory therapist since 1983 and remains licensed in the state of New York. Her experience in respiratory care includes routine and critical care in the hospital setting outpatient and at home equipment modalities and management and use of home ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, apnea monitor, nebulizer, and other respiratory-related equipment. Elizabeth has also worked as a sleep polysomnographer conducting overnight sleep studies. She has over 10 years of research experience coordinating clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies specifically related to pulmonary diseases. Elizabeth continues to participate with her local Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis support group and is considered the medical liaison for her aging parents. She has a bachelor’s of science degree from Empire State College and an associate of science degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care from Mansfield State University.
